Jingmin Ren Artist Statement
It has been said that the artist’s job is that of revelation. [James Baldwin] In essence, I pursue this task by capturing my responses to the spectacular beauty of our world and communicating my experience of life through art.
Each morning, I awaken to the ever-changing sunrise over Sydney City, finding renewed energy and deep joy in its beauty. For three years, I faithfully documented these sunrises, seeking to share the profound connection I felt with others.
The sun's warmth and the ever-shifting clouds inspire me endlessly. With oil on canvas, I create light, shadow, and tones, capturing the energy that connects time, space, and the universe. In this process, I become part of the universe, like the wind gently caressing nature, enabling creatures to rise above the clouds and witness the splendor of creation.
I follow the flow of light, freely navigating this universe. My paintings reflect what I see, think, and feel. Through my artworks, I aim to transport viewers into a realm of magical dreams, mystical and transcendent, fostering an appreciation for our incredible planet and encouraging belief in ourselves.
Creativity knows no boundaries, and I strive to push artistic boundaries by combining calligraphy and AI art design. With the spirit of creation, I aspire to share the wonder I see with all of you.
My mission is to spread love, happiness, and positive energy.

Profile
Jingmin Ren (任静敏)
Spiritual Energy Artist
Originally from China started painting professionally after relocating to Sydney, Australia, in 2009. Her local Catholic school commissioned her to paint works inspired by the Book of Genesis. This was an appropriate topic for her because she, too, was experiencing her Genesis in her new country. She felt a deep connection with each painting, showing us the love and passion she shared when creating these works. The recognition and appreciation of her artworks have encouraged and inspired her to continue pursuing her skills as an artist.
Jingmin Ren has also captured the Sunrise of Sydney City by photographically documenting each morning for the past three years to share her connection and feelings of renewed energy, joy and happiness. These experiences were transformed into her “Sydney Morning” oil painting series.
Her spiritual energy artworks present a unique artistic style with the structural characteristics of symbolism and surrealism.
She paints with oil on canvas and is passionate about painting energy art. She uses romantic expressionist techniques to discover the relationship between human beings and nature. Creating light, shadow and tones, together with positive energy movement, connects time and space, creature and universe.
She has participated in numerous exhibitions over the last ten years and received many awards, including the International Outstanding Female Artist Award in the Third International Painting Festival of Hawaii-2017.
Ren had taught art with a passionate desire to share her joy and knowledge. She has received Certifications of Appreciation for her volunteer art workshop from Canterbury Bankstown City Council for three consecutive years between 2017 and 2019.
Jingmin Ren’s “Sydney Morning” and “Flow of Light” oil painting series have been exhibited worldwide. Her artworks were collected in Australia, China, USA and France.
Jingmin Ren has come from a banking background, having traded Indices and Commodities. She has also worked in property development as a project manager. As a daughter, mother, sister, partner, and director of a company, she believes art is a spiritual journey to accomplish her self-realisation. She feels her mission is to share love, happiness and positive energy with all people.
